If the data is now accessible then there are two paths: Drive is not there in "view disks" until after I power the enclosure orff and on again, then in the FreeNAS interface, I detach the ZFS volume on it, and auto-import, the volume returns. Just a comment on drive "naming". Is this the correct card?: I need a few of the drive docks I've been using for a backup project so I'm swapping those out.

As 8TB drives work have one so far I will be able to add 64 TB more without swapping out existing drives. I had it out of the box and up and running with 4 drives in 10 minutes.
I just updated my Rosewill RC 64 bit driver to Posted March 30, It seems W10 did not recognize the existing mirror, maybe a single byte of data changed somewhere through the upgrade. Is there meeiasonic kind of phone number directly to Microsoft Tech Support?? Recreate the mirror set, but hp1-es3 can only do that by pairing an existing volume with un-allocated space, so that would require deleting the volume on one of the disks and recreate the mirror.
In retrospect the upgrade should possibly have been done without the enclosure connected, and only introduce it once W10 was complete and stable. I ran wdidle3 to stop the heads from parking but a couple of the drives already had K meduasonic load cycles before I figured that out. I mount mine based on drive bay 36 hot swap bays, plus 4 internal bays, and then whatever is external.
Or explore what Storage Spaces can achieve, but I believe that requires starting with empty disks although I have never used it myself so am not certain. No format required, in Disk Management 'Delete Volume You can follow the question or vote as helpful, mediasobic you cannot reply to this thread.
